The Musterer's Trail - 2 & 1/2 Hours
Get a 'taste' of the Kiwi stockman's life journey through the heartland with a splash in the river and refreshments at the old Musterer's Hut.

The Sundowner - 2 &1/2 Hours
A tranquil evening beckons. The romance of the countryside unfolds as you meander along the riverside to see the sun kissed Wairoa Valley.

The River Ride - Half Day
Splash through the river on horseback, explore deep into the Stonehurst countryside with refreshments at the rustic old musterer's hut. A world of adventure on the hoof!

Pony Rides - 20 Minutes
Young children will love our led pony rides. This is the stuff memories are made of.

THE SCENIC FARM TRAIL - 1 Hour

Ease into the outdoors and the peaceful rhythm of this delightful and relaxed country ride. Walk your horse through the river; see Wetland wildlife and native bush with 200 hundred-year-old Totora trees. Listen for native birds, meet our farm animals and pause to take in the colourful Waimea Plains. A gentle adventure for beginners and families infused with the romance of country life.

THE MUSTERERS TRAIL - 2 ½ hours

Re-awaken your sense of adventure and get a 'taste' of the Kiwi stockman's life on the invigorating Musterer's Trail. Explore the expansive and ever changing farm terrain, take a cooling splash in the river and stop for light refreshments at the rustic old Musterer's Hut in the heart of Stonehurst country. Uniquely New Zealand, deeply satisfying!

THE SUNDOWNER - 2 ½ hours

The heat of the day forgotten, a warm and tranquil evening beckons.
The romance of the countryside unfolds as you meander over paddocks, along the riverside, past native bush and ascend gentle rolling hills to see magnificent sun kissed views over the river and Wairoa Valley below. Relax en-route at the rustic old Musterer's Hut and enjoy refreshments.

THE RIVER RIDE - Half Day Adventure

Get into the big outdoors and experience the exhilarating River Ride. Splash through the river on horseback or make a crossing if the river allows. Explore deep into the Stonehurst countryside following the river boundary to re-energize with morning or afternoon tea at the rustic old musterer's hut. A world of adventure on the hoof!

PONY RIDES - 20 minutes

This is the stuff childhood memories are made of! Stonehurst Farm pony ride are safe and fun with experienced staff to provide the perfect introduction to riding for those 10 years and under. Ride to the pond and see the ducks and geese. Meet our other delightful farm animals and bring a picnic to savour in the countryside.
