An exciting opportunity for you to learn from Van Hargis how to introduce your horse to cattle.
This clinic is tailored to the needs and interests of the participants, but generally in this clinic Van reinforces the importance of foundation training as he introduces the horse to cattle. In other words, his primary focus will be on the skills needed prior to exposing horses to cattle. Then Van discusses horse position, strategy, and reading cattle, and learning how and when to be either offensive or defensive. Whether you aspire to cut, team pen, rope, or perform in working cow horse classes at horse shows, you and your horse will appreciate this clinic, and will leave the clinic with a solid foundation for your future experiences with working your horse on cattle.
