The Concept of Fear, Trust & Confidence AND Overcoming Obstacles by Reducing to the Ridiculous.
“It is my goal to empower riders and handlers by helping them understand fear both in ourselves and in our horses. Knowing the root of fear and how we and our horses react to it determines our ability to trust ourselves and our horses and helps the horses learn to trust us in practically every scenario thus developing and reinforcing confidence. I will also focus on helping clinic participants learn to focus on the thing we can do and the things our horses can do rather than worry and concentrate on the things we don’t think we can do. I’m confident I can help participants in this clinic make great strides toward developing more confidence in themselves as horsemen.” – Van Hargis
limited to 10-12 riders as Van prefers to keep his clinics small because he cover things in great detail and prides himself on being thorough and giving each participant plenty of personal attention.
